UNITED STATES – More than 100 vehicles were involved in a massive pileup in Ottawa County on Monday, with local media reporting multiple injuries.

Authorities say the crash happened on Interstate 196 in Zeeland Township, forcing the highway to be shut down in both directions as crews worked to clear the scene.
Michigan State Police confirm between 30 and 40 semi trucks were caught up in the pileup.
Officials have not yet released details on the cause of the crash, as the investigation continues.
