NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police have charged a fifth suspect in connection to a $9 million cocaine seizure in Long Island. 

Androetti Nixon denied charges of conspiracy to possession drugs with intent to supply, conspiracy to import drugs and abetment to import drugs when he stood before Acting Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

The charges stem from the June 23 discovery of 1,122 pounds of cocaine by authorities while searching a Cessna aircraft.

Nixon was granted $50,000 bail and he returns to court on September 4 for the start of his trial.

Nixon is charged along with Harry Dolce, a retired policeman, and three Mexicans, Jorge Chacon, Rodrigo Arce and Edgar Ruceno.

They are charged with conspiracy to import drugs, conspiracy to possess drugs with intent to supply, drug importation and drug possession with intent to supply.
