GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Work on the Fishing Hole Road Causeway in Grand Bahama is set to begin in a few weeks, now that the Ministry of Works’ assessment is completed.

David Cox, Senior Engineer for Family Islands at the Ministry of Works confirming some of the issues surrounding the fishing hole road causeway, explaining Cabinet has approved the project and a local contractor in Grand Bahama will carry out the work.

Some motorists have asked whether drivers who got into accidents on the causeway would be able to receive assistance from the Ministry of Works to repair their vehicles.
