NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It was this video that captured the attention of many this week, Flamingo Air’s boarding ladder deployed during an early morning flight.

Our News obtained a document circulated internally by the Bahamas Air Navigation Services Authority which says the Civil Aviation Authority has suspended with immediate effect, Flamingo Air Aircraft C6-MMK.

And as for why the investigation is necessary.

The question was asked whether or not the viral video prompted the full investigation.

Additionally, two aircraft belonging to Pineapple Air was also grounded according to that document, C6-MIC and C6-KSC.

When the chairman was asked to confirm that here was his response.

Francis shares what usually happens during these types of investigations.

The document also says that no air traffic service is it to be rendered to those aircraft and the order remains in effect until canceled or amended by the office of the Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority.

Francis says the safety of the traveling public is of utmost importance.
