NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A former bank teller has been accused of theft.

Kenrisher Major, 32, faces charges of stealing by reason of employment and falsification of accounts.

Prosecutors allege that Major stole $16,600 on November 16, 2019 while working as a teller at Royal Bank of Canada.

She’s also accused of falsifying accounts to show that three customers withdrew a collective $15,000 on the same date.

Major pleaded not guilty at her arraignment before Assistant Chief Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans.

She was granted $7,000 bail and returns to court for trial on October 8
