NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The former assistant manager at Burger King on Bernard Road has admitted to stealing $1590 while he worked there.

De’Shaun Wells, 24, pleaded guilty to six counts of stealing by reason of employment at his arraignment before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

The thefts took place in July 2024.

Reckley ordered Wells to repay the stolen money, stay out of legal problems for a year, and complete 200 hours of community service.

Should Wells breach these conditions, he’ll go to prison for nine months.
