SEATTLE, WASHINGTON – Bahamian Devard Darling had a successful career in the NFL, showcasing his talents as a standout wide receiver for three teams. 

Darling retired in 2011 and subsequently established roots in Washington, where he has been residing with his family for the past few years. The journey leading him to Washington – a story worth exploring.

And as a Bahamian living in Washington, darling says summertime is the pinnacle of enjoyment. 

In December, Alaska Airlines launched a non-stop flight from Seattle to Nassau. Darling calling it: a godsend.
