NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Former politician Trevor Whylly was back in court concerning allegations that he indecently assaulted a minor. 

Whylly, 64, a teacher, is accused of hugging and kissing a 12-year-old in the school’s bathroom.

The incident allegedly took place on May 27, 2022.

Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt adjourned the matter to July 26 when it’s expected that the minor will take the witness stand.

Whylly served as a Progressive Liberal Party senator from May 2002 through May 2007.
