NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The former prime minister not holding back as he gave his candid assessment of the shocking U.S. Indictment and whether or not he thinks the prime minister was blindsided.

The shocking court documents named several Bahamians along with members of the armed forces alleging they facilitated the movement of illegal drugs and firearms through The Bahamas and into the United States.

When asked outside Parliament Wednesday, Dr. Hubert Minnis claimed that during his time as prime minister, he was informed by U.S. Authorities about investigations involving a high-profile figure.

Now, he’s raising questions about whether the current administration received similar warnings and failed to act.

Now Minnis did not identify who that person was however, this indictment isn’t the only matter he wants answers for.

The former has renewed his call for a commission of inquiry to investigate recent scandals, insisting it’s the only way to restore public trust.
