GB Traffic Fatality Claims Life of A Female
GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Head of Grand Bahama’s Traffic Division Assistant Superintendent Christopher Farquharson said sometime around 3:30am Saturday, police control room received information of an accident on Balao Road.
GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Head of Grand Bahama’s Traffic Division Assistant Superintendent Christopher Farquharson said sometime around 3:30am Saturday, police control room received information of an accident on Balao Road.
“Officers were dispatched to the scene when they observed a gray Honda Civic,” he said.
“Upon inspection of the vehicle they observed a female who was unresponsive. EMS was called and pronounced the woman dead.”
He said the victim was trapped in the vehicle and Fire Services personnel had to use the jaws of life to extract her.
Investigations continue.
