GRAND BAHAMA – The 3rd annual Grand Bahama Island Restaurant Festival kicks off this weekend, and this year’s festival spanning August 3rd through 17th, will have a sustainable twist.

The highly anticipated crawfish season reopens today and adhering to those guidelines is another focus of the festival.

And beyond highlighting local and traditional favorites, the festival also hopes to encourage the fishing and consumption of invasive species through demos, as featured Chef Harold Pinder explains.
