LONDON – Mourners sing “God Save The Queen” just outside the gate of Buckingham Palace, where the Union Jack flag waves at half mast, in recognition of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, who died Thursday.

LONDON – Mourners sing “God Save The Queen” just outside the gate of Buckingham Palace, where the Union Jack flag waves at half mast, in recognition of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, who died Thursday.

Meanwhile, members of the Royal Family gather at Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland where The Queen passed away peacefully this afternoon.

According to a statement on the Royal website, The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.
