Gordon, Ayton Meet in the Playoffs

Eric Gordon scores 19 As The Clippers Beat the Suns

Phoenix, AZ, USA. Bahamians clashed in the NBA playoffs on Sunday night as Eric Gordon and his Los Angles Clippers beat Deandre Ayton’s Phoenix Suns 115-110 in game one of the first round of the playoffs. 

Gordon, a 15-year NBA veteran got the start at shooting guard for the Clippers in place of injured all-star Paul George. He filled in admirably scoring 19 points on 7 of 14 shooting including this clutch shot to put the clips up by 6 with less than two minutes left.

Ayton’s 18 points came on 7 of 14 shooting, including Phoenix’s first bucket of the night.

Ayton was unable to dominate the boards as the Suns were outrebounded by the Clippers, 48-42.
