NASSAU, BAHAMAS – After 10 years of advocating for coverage, permanent and pensionable attorneys and magistrates in the Office of The Attorney General will now have health insurance coverage.

Attorneys and magistrates will pay 20% of the premium and the government will pick up the other 80%.

Our News spoke to Colina Manager of Group Sales and Administration, Cheryl Martins who summarizes the benefits of the new plan.

Martins tells us in cases like these, health insurance could be the one thing standing between you and bankruptcy.
