NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The government’s new short term rental portal created to regulate short term rentals in the country, is a move Department of Inland Revenue Acting controller Shunda Strachan says is crucial for the country. 

Strachan gives a deeper explanation of why the government has decided to call on all property owners to register their short term rentals, which can be air bnb’s, an addition to your home or even a room in your home.
The public has up until April 30th to register their property on the department’s website at www.inlandrevenue.finance.gov.bs
