Grand Bahama Man Charged with Two Counts of Child Pornography

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 41-year-old Grand Bahama man will spend some time behind bars after being arraigned on several child pornography charges.

Edwin Bauld from Holmes Rock appeared before Magistrate Laquay Laing and was charged with one count of receiving, disseminating  or distributing pornography material, one count of causing or inciting a child to be involved in pornography and conspiracy to commit extortion.

He was not required to enter a plea to the charges and bail was denied.

Bauld was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Corrections until September 26th.
