GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – The island of Grand Bahama is taking the threat of Hurricane Milton very seriously. Many were at stores across the island picking up hurricane supplies.

On Monday, the island experienced unsettled weather for most of the day with many residents out purchasing storm supplies and food.

Some Grand Bahamians say after Hurricane Dorian, they are determined not to be caught off guard again.

Some shoppers were seen gathering essential items like canned goods, fruits, and vegetables.

One resident expressed that he was not too concerned about the storm. Others emphasize why it’s crucial to prepare.
