GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Grand Bahama could be seeing the new firearms and gang unit as early as next week.

Police Commissioner Clayton Fernander says it appears the weapon of choice for criminals in Grand Bahama has been firearms.

In order to efficiently combat crime, a new firearms unit will be established.
