NASSAU, BAHAMAS – We met one of The Bahamas Reef Environment Educational Foundation’s Bahamas Environmental Stewardship Scholars, Christopher Clarke, earlier this year, and now his time with BREEF is winding down.

BREEF’s Outreach Officer, Heather Brockbank, tells us the transition is bittersweet.

BREEF has a new round of Bahamas Environmental Stewardship Scholars: Grand Bahamian Farah Flowers of Bishop Michael Eldon School in Freeport, and Abaconian Journey Higgs of Windsor School in New Providence.

As for what they can expect during their time with BREEF, Heather Brockbank, Outreach Officer, says, “When we have our BESS scholars, it keeps giving back.”
