NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Debate on the 2024/2025 budget has officially wrapped up, making way for the communication to be tabled in the lower chambers. Weighing in, on behalf of the business community, is chairman of the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce, Timothy Ingraham.

Now one of the major takeaways from this budget communication involves plans to revamp the energy sector, a move intended to reduce the cost of energy. The chamber chairman had this bit of input on the matter.

However, Thompson says he did not agree with the government’s decision to purchase a $2.5 million aircraft.
