NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Hard work and dedication took center stage at C.C. Sweeting Senior High School as students were recognized for their academic achievements during the school’s annual Honor Roll Assembly. The event celebrated top-performing students while inspiring others to aim higher.
It was a moment of pride and achievement at CC Sweeting Senior High School as top-performing students were honored for their hard work and dedication. The honor roll assembly, themed ‘Still We Strive: Keeping Excellence Alive,’ highlighted the resilience of students striving for academic greatness.
The school recognized 87 honor students, including 14 on the principal’s list and 73 rising stars with GPAs between 2.7 and 2.99.

“The principal’s list has jumped now almost 50%, which means that we have almost double the amount of persons on the principal’s list. Our rising star list has also gone up. So basically, we are doing great things at C.C. Sweeting School and we are improving.”
Cobra pride was strong on the campus as students said this recognition fuels their drive to keep striving for excellence.

In a time when young men are getting a bad rap, Donovan Samuel, a 12th-grade student, had this message for his peers.

Everyone in attendance was inspired by the uplifting words of Reverend Dr. Tyrone Perpall, who encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.
