NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A quiet Sea Breeze Lane community was left shaken after a deadly shooting Monday night claimed the life of a 28-year-old man.

Police say the victim had just arrived home when several masked gunmen opened fire, killing him on the spot. Chilling CCTV footage shows at least four armed men exiting a vehicle and ambushing him as he pulled up to his house. The video quickly went viral, sending shockwaves through the neighborhood.

Family and friends gathered at the scene as the victim’s body lay motionless just feet from his front door. When our news team returned to the area today, many residents were too afraid to speak on camera.

One woman, who has lived in the community for more than two decades, described dropping to the floor as the gunfire erupted.

“Last night I was inside my kitchen feeding my dog and I heard some shots, pop, pop, pop. Then I heard it again. I laid down on the floor until it stopped. After that, I closed the door.”

Neighbors say the victim had only been living in the community for a few months and had recently returned home from work. They described him as quiet, respectful, and helpful.

“He just goes to work and comes home. He was a helpful young man, respectable.”

As police continue their search for the gunmen, residents say they’re living in fear and are now considering added security measures.
