Real estate agent at HG Christie, Catherine Macleay is noticing a trend in the Grand Bahama market. More and more Bahamians are looking for rental properties.
Depending on your perspective, the challenge is availability of properties to rent.

And when the island suffered tremendous devastation post Hurricane Dorian, it prompted many Grand Bahamians to relocate. Macleay says she believes that the island is still suffering as remaining homeowners may be weary about rebuilding.

Then, there is also an influx of Canadian buyers.
