UNITED STATES – The FBI office in Salt Lake City, Utah, has released two images of a “person of interest” in the killing of Charlie Kirk, a conservative American activist and influential ally of U.S. President Donald Trump.

They’re also offering a $100,000 reward for information.

Kirk was shot and killed at Utah University in an apparent targeted assassination.

The killer is still at large, but a high-powered rifle was found in nearby woods, as well as a “footwear impression” and a “forearm imprint”.

Officials say the suspect “appears to be of college age” and fled “into a neighborhood.”

Utah Governor Spencer Cox called the killing a “political assassination.”
