BEIRUT – Israeli warplanes launched a new airstrike targeting a Hezbollah commander in the southern suburb of Beirut.

Footage released by Israel defense forces allegedly shows the moment of strike.

Lebanon’s state news agency NNA said three missiles were fired into a residential apartment in Al-Qaem neighborhood in the capital Beirut.

Today’s attack was the third to have targeted the southern suburb of Beirut in a week.

Israel has pounded Lebanon since Monday morning, killing at least 640 people and injuring over 2,500 others, according to figures released by the Health Ministry.
