NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Housing and Urban Renewal Minister Keith Bell recently revealed the 10-year age limit on cars imported into the country could be significantly reduced.

The possible changes come nearly a decade after the Christie administration first established the age limit in May 2015.

Solomon Uboh, a used car retail owner is welcoming the move.

But for others, it’s not so simple. Operators at Family Auto Budget Sales say there are number of factors that comes into play.

However Strachan also sharing that as a client, she would totally oppose the move.

While no decision is set in stone, Minister Bell says the matter will be up for consultation soon.
