NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The 50th independence celebrations saw dignitaries from across the world attend the golden jubilee events. Commonwealth Secretary-General Baroness Patricia Scotland was one of them.

As a collection of what’s now 56 member states, of which 25 are small island states like The Bahamas, the Secretary-General tells Our News how the Commonwealth also raised the alarm about climate change decades ago.
