INTERNATIONAL – Johnson & Johnson has unveiled a new settlement plan aiming to resolve the bulk of lawsuits alleging its talc products, such as baby powder, caused cancer.

Valued at nearly $6.5 billion over 25 years, the offer Target’s former customers with ovarian cancer claims, encompassing the majority of the 59,000 lawsuits.

With a total allocation of approximately $11 billion for talc litigation, this marks the third settlement attempt by Johnson & Johnson.
