PHOENIX, U.S.A. – Jonquel Jones and a team of WNBA All-Stars delivered a shocking 117-109 defeat to Team USA Saturday night. 

Playing in her 5th all-star game, she had six points, seven rebounds and five assists.

Arike Ogumbawale led the charge for the WNBA All Stars. She went for 21 in the third quarter en route to an all-star record 34 points to claim the MVP.

Bahamians Around the World

We start off in Japan. 

We introduced you to martial artist Christian Deleveaux last year. On Saturday, he placed 2nd overall in the men’s 35-40 year old division in the Shinkyushin style in Japan’s national martial arts tournament.

The girls and boys’ u-15 soccer team continued their matches against OTF Academy. Unfortunately for the 242 OTF swept the day with the girls falling 5-1 and the boys losing 3-1. 

And finally, Jazz Chisholm’s Miami Marlins and Antoan Richardson’s Mets continued their series in Miami with the mets coming out with the 1-0 win.
