NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Popular content creator Elias Fritz could be home for Christmas after a judge granted him bail.

Senior Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson set bail at $50,000 for Fritz, who is better known on TikTok as Jaido World.

Fritz, who boasts more than 300,000 followers, is banned from discussing the pending case on social media.

He will also have to wear an ankle bracelet, keep a curfew and report to police daily.

Fritz will remain in custody until his sureties are approved.

Fritz faces charges of attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of a firearm and ammunition.

The charges stem from an Aug. 11 police pursuit.

Prosecutors allege that around 4:30 a.m., officers attached to the Black Scorpion operation saw a white Nissan Cube speeding in the area of Robinson Road and Ida Street with no headlights on.

The officers tried to stop the vehicle, which was allegedly driven by Fritz. During the pursuit, shots were fired at Inspector A. Cartwright and Constable 4475 McDonald, who returned fire.

The chase ended when the Cube crashed into a light pole on the Eastern Road.

Meanwhile, another patrol unit came across taxi driver Theodore Fernander, who flagged them down on East Street.

He reported that the occupants of a white Cube shot him in the area of Robinson Road when they tried to rob him of his 2014 Honda Odyssey van.
