Judge Orders Jury to Acquit Men in Attempted Murder Case
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A judge has directed jurors to acquit two men of attempted murder.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A judge has directed jurors to acquit two men of attempted murder.
Mauricio Webster and Malik Hanna were accused of the December 18, 2022 shooting of Adam Newbold at his car wash on East Street.
Newbold testified he was ambushed by the accused, whom he knew, shortly after he opened his business.
However, Newbold failed to return to court to be cross-examined.
As a result, Justice Franklyn Williams KC directed jurors to return not guilty verdicts in the case.
