NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A judge has set bail at $40,000 for a man accused of murder.

Dieuson Tomas, 28, is accused of the October 19, 2025 murder of Kenrick Pratt.

Prosecutors allege Thomas and another person shot Pratt during a pursuit that started from Miami Street and ended when Pratt’s vehicle crashed into a parked car at Early Bird Supermarket on Robinson Road.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

As a condition of bail, Tomas has to wear an ankle bracelet, keep a curfew, check in daily with police and stay away from prosecution witnesses.
