NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man is behind bars awaiting sentencing after a jury convicted him of robbing a former MP and his wife outside of their home.

Jurors unanimously found Brenville Hanna responsible for the August 13, 2021 hold-up of Reuben and Natasha Rahming.

They were accosted by two gunmen after they arrived at their home in Yamacraw after attending a meeting for the Pinewood Constituency.

The robbers forced the Rahmings on the ground and robbed them of $485 cash, a Coach handbag, two cellphones, and a watch.

Police recovered Mrs Rahming’s handbag in the garbage in front of Hanna’s apartment on Hanna Road after her husband tracked their devices to the location.
