NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A jury has been chosen to hear the trial of a man accused of molesting a teenage boy.

Prosecutors allege that 50-year-old Marlin Newton had unlawful sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old boy on August 19, 2019.

Newton, who is on bail, has denied the allegation.

The teenager was unable to give consent because he was under 18.

Newton was 44 when the crime was allegedly committed.
