UNITED STATES – U.S. President Joe Biden will address the nation from the Oval Office on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET about his plans for the future.

This comes as Vice President Kamala Harris secured enough delegates for the Democratic presidential nomination on Monday night, according to campaign sources.

Reuters reports she had 2,214 delegates, surpassing the majority needed for the first ballot. However, the Associated Press notes the count is unofficial, as delegates can vote for any candidate at the party’s formal nomination.
