NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Another murder in the capital on Wednesday night; the latest fatal shooting claiming the life a 21-year-old resident of Kennedy Subdivision.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Another murder in the capital on Wednesday night; the latest fatal shooting claiming the life a 21-year-old resident of Kennedy Subdivision.
According to Police Press Liaison Officer, Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings, Shotspotter technology alerted officers to gunshots in the area shortly after 11pm.
Police have since confirmed that two men, who fled the scene on foot, were involved in this shooting incident.
Chief Superintendent Skippings is asking the community and public at large for any information that could bring closure.
She notes that saturation patrols have increased on the island and police are seeing the results.
She also made this impassioned appeal for residents to do their part in combating violent crime.
