NASSAU, BAHAMAS – After a delay, Labour Minister Keith Bell says the opening of iHop restaurant is imminent.

The breakfast restaurant was set to open the end of February but was delayed to April 4th.

In late January, iHop Bahamas and Caribbean franchise holder Burton Rodgers revealed a second location was identified with the restaurant to open shortly after the first.

More than 600 people turned up to a job fair back in January to fill one of the 200 jobs being offered at iHop.

Bell commended the Department of Labour’s job readiness seminar which ensures many Bahamians are prepared.

His comments came during the announcement of another job fair, this time in the Free Town Constituency.
