Labour Minister: No Recommendation From National Tripartite Council Yet
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Trade Union Congress President Obie Ferguson has repeatedly called for an increase, saying the current minimum wage of two hundred and sixty dollars per week should be increased to three hundred and fifty dollars, noting the high cost of living Bahamians are dealing with. Minister of Labour Pia Glover-Rolle says the government has several things to consider before making that decision.
