NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The death of The Queen and the appointment of the new king, now means leading lawyers have become King’s Counsel rather than Queen’s Counsel.

The announcement coming in a joint statement issued by the Office of the Attorney General, the Ministry of Legal Affairs and The Bahamas Bar Association.

In the statement, the agencies expressed condolences to the Royal Family  on the passing of The Queen, who they say will be remembered as a beloved, faithful and dedicated queen.
