NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Legacy Nation Sports Group hosted its first annual college commitment ceremony at Living Waters Kingdom Ministries, celebrating several student-athletes who signed to collegiate programs.

The signees were across several disciplines – baseball, football, and athletics. 

That list included rache pantry to indiana tech track and field, Jayden Walkine to Bethel University Track and Field,  and in baseball – Chozen Brown and Ceddrick Duvalier to Bay College.

According to founder Jaydian Miller, the Bahamian-based recruiting service boasts a 90 percent success rate with over 50 athletes earning scholarships to date. 

Basketball

Rashad Davis is headed back to the French Pro B League after re-signing with Caen Basket Calvados for the upcoming season. 

The 6’3″ forward averaged 9.6 points, four rebounds,  last year in 22 minutes per contest. 

Davis helped caen finish 14th in the 20-team standings, avoiding relegation in their first Pro B season. 

His return brings versatility on both ends of the floor as Caen builds toward a playoff push.

Flag Football

The battle for flag football supremacy on the beach returns as Sand Wars 2025 gets underway at the Malcolm Park Beach Soccer facility.

Competition begins tonight at 8pm and runs through the 27th 

Action continues Saturday at 9am and at 1pm on Sunday.

The 5 on 5 tournament includes teams from Nassau, Abaco, Grand Bahama, the Cayman Islands and the United States.
