NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Nationality Bill, 2022 among several key pieces of legislation expected to transform the lives of Bahamians in the next budget year, according to Attorney General Ryan Pinder.

Sasha Lightbourne has a closer look at the AG’s contribution in the senate.

Pinder speaking to several key pieces of legislation expected to be passed in the upcoming budget cycle, among them, the Nationality Bill, 2022.

He also spoke to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Bill, 2022 which will expunge the records of many who were arrested under the emergency orders.

The Evidence Amendment Act, 2022 will also be in the government’s legislative suite this fiscal year, according to Pinder.

The 2022/2023 budget is expected to come into force on July 1.
