GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Gotham City is the home of Batman, Superman calls Metropolis home but what super hero or heroes are living in The Bahamas?

A well-known local filmmaker recently posted his cinematic response to this question on social media, and it’s gone viral.

Of course our Denielle Miller has the scoop in this week’s art and entertainment.

The video is called “Bahamian Super Heros Part 1”, posted to Zhaneo’s social media platforms earlier this week and in a short time gotten more than $150,000 viewers.

Newbold told me that the idea was sporadic and in the moment of spontaneity, he called a few of his friends and gave his vision life.

Filled with cultural anecdotes, comedic banter, cinematic effects and bright costumes, he says what makes this project special is a testament that he is always challenging himself.

And, the pressing question, will there be a part 2?
