NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Local government councils throughout the Family Islands will see a 10% increase in funds in the upcoming budget cycle.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Local government councils throughout the Family Islands will see a 10% increase in funds in the upcoming budget cycle.
Minister responsible Clay Sweeting says the move comes after successive governments have slashed the budgets in this area.
Sweeting explains, councils throughout The Bahamas have had to make ends meet with the consistent cuts, despite inflation and other economic factors.
