Local Production Company to Host Broadway Musical

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A local production company is looking to introduce something new to the Bahamian market.

As Berthony Mcdermott tells us, the brainchild behind the company is hoping to provide a space where creatives can have a career.

Jam Production is introducing broadway to the Bahamian market.

According to owner Jaynell McPhee, the journey to producing these projects hasn’t been an easy one, but she is up to the challenge.

Jam Production is a Bahamian theatre company that’s providing a space for creatives to showcase their talents.

She says the goal is to expand to create the performance industry in The Bahamas.

In this vein, Jam Production will be putting on a broadway musical called broadways best on June 4th and The University of The Bahamas’ Performing Arts Center.

This is their fourth show over the years and the first since the COVID-19 pandemic.
