NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man is behind bars accused of killing a suspect in a 2021 murder.

Prosecutors allege that Kenah Armbrister shot Sean Higgs in an ambush outside of Superwash on Nassau Street on Auhust 9.

Armbrister didn’t have to enter a plea to the charge when he stood before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

Bail was denied and Armbrister issue back in court on November 20 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.

At the time of his death, Higgs was on bail for the February 8 shooting death of Fredrick Ferguson at Lincoln Boulevard. 

In June 2024, Higgs was acquitted of the 2013 murders of Amati Knowles and Odrivk Telusma in Kemp Road.
