Man Accused of Abducting Daughter Faces Child Stealing Charge

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of abducting his daughter is behind bars facing a child stealing charge.
Prosecutors allege that 34-year-old Angelo McQueen took his 11-year-old daughter to the United States on March 1, 2024 without her mother’s permission.
McQueen was arrested in Tennessee in July and subsequently deported to The Bahamas.
McQueen didn’t have to enter a plea to the charge when he stood before Magistrate Shaka Serville.
Bail was denied. He’s back in court on April 11, 2025 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
