NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of attempting to rob a laundromat has been denied bail.

Justice Neil Brathwaite refused bail to 27-year-old Jamaal Taylor to preserve public safety and order.

Taylor is accused of the attempted armed robbery of Superwash on Carmichael Road on March 3, 2023.

Police said a worker foiled the robbery attempt by locking herself inside the office when robbers entered the business.
