Man Accused of Killing Inmate Claims Self Defense
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of killing an inmate and injuring two others says he acted in defense.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of killing an inmate and injuring two others says he acted in defense.
Diallo Williamson is charged with the February 1, 2025 murder of Brody Fritz and the attempted murders of Nicanor Moss and John Pratt.
Prosecutors say Williamson stabbed Fritz and Moss when they were let out of their cells to empty their night pails.
Williamson pleaded not guilty to the charges when he appeared before Justice Guillimina Archer-Minns.
He told the court that he was attacked and acted in self-defense.
Williamson is expected to learn his trial date when he appears before Justice Dale Fitzpatrick on August 15.
