Man Accused of March 13 Murder Denied Bail
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man is behind bars after he was accused of killing his girlfriend’s friend.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man is behind bars after he was accused of killing his girlfriend’s friend.
Prosecutors say 49-year-old Peter Johnson stabbed Berkley Kerr to death on March 13.
The incident unfolded in the parking lot of Smith’s Motel on East Street South.
Johnson was not required to enter a plea to the murder charge when he stood before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.
Bail was denied and the matter is expected to be sent to the Supreme Court on June 19.
