Man Accused of Threatening to Kill Wife, Abusing Daughter

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 32-year-old man was granted $7,000 bail after being accused of pulling a gun on his soon-to-be ex-wife, threatening to kill her and abusing their two-year-old daughter.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 32-year-old man was granted $7,000 bail after being accused of pulling a gun on his soon-to-be ex-wife, threatening to kill her and abusing their two-year-old daughter. 

The man, whose name has been withheld, pleaded not guilty to charges of assault with a deadly weapon, threats of death and cruelty to children at his arraignment.

The incident allegedly took place on a Family Island on August 9.

As a condition of bail, the man must leave the marital home and is forbidden from coming within 300 feet of his wife.

He is to have supervised visits with his daughter if Social Services permits.

The man’s trial is set for October 23.
